Dennis Stuempfle, a lifelong Philadelphia area native now living in Brunswick County, NC has recently published a 3 part children’s series “Adventures of Tchotchke” through Amazon Publishing.
OCEAN ISLE BEACH, NC, October 24, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — For pre-schoolers to early readers (Ages 2-7). This charming and engaging story of a family whose children, like most, want a pet will help your children understand the importance of taking their responsibility seriously and what can happen when they don’t. The beautiful full color glossy illustrations in these stories will captivate children as you or they read about how the family’s once adored pet bunny becomes so sad and feels so unloved that he runs away. In book 2, the bunny wants to be loved and to fit in so badly that he’s willing to become something he’s not, a duck. Of course, bunnies can’t become ducks, but Tchotchke has to learn that the hard way. He finally does and the family realizes that they need Tchotchke as much as he needs them. In book 3, everyone is so happy that they decide to take a camping trip to celebrate. That doesn’t turn out quite the way that they expect but the children learn that everyone has the makings of a hero, as heroes come in all shapes and sizes.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Dennis Stuempfle is a retired businessman who was born and raised in Philadelphia PA and lived most of his life in Southern NJ. He’s an Air Force veteran living along the southern coast of North Carolina. He has a Master’s degree from Fox School of Business at Temple University and a BS in Management from Rutgers University. Prior to retiring, he was the owner of a career planning and recruiting firm. He has been a substitute teacher and a volunteer in schools in NJ and NC, partly because he loved how young the children made him feel and partly because he liked being a part of the mad houses commonly known as “elementary and middle school”. As a grandfather, he has 4 beautiful grandchildren who drive him just as crazy as his students did. While these are Stuempfle’s first children’s books, he previously published a dystopian novel entitled “Acts of Sedition” under the pseudonym, Dennis Stephan. This novel is also available on Amazon.com.
