Q: What does being a consumer choice award winner mean to you? How did winning the Consumer Choice Award impact your business?

A: That we are on the right track and that patients know and feel that they are our first priority. Our goal is excellence. Winning the award motivates our office to keep doing the best that we can. Hard work pays off.

Q: What makes your business unique in the market?

A: We are unique because of our location, we are in a plaza that is easily accessible with lots of free parking. We are also wheelchair accessible. We have a very clean, bright and modern dental office. State of the art technology, digital x-rays. A hygiene program that offers laser therapy. A great staff that has the same goals, ethics, and morals. Continuing education mandatory by all staff. Programs to suit all patients, Children’s club, Baby Oral Health Program, Oral Health and Wellness Program. We co-discover with our patients sharing with them what we see, what we are recommending and why.

Q: What is the most recent example of how you have exceeded your client’s expectations on a job?

A: A patient was not covered for a crown by their dental plan that was at risk of breaking. We wrote an appeal letter to see if their benefit plan would reconsider, and they did. The patient was very thankful as they could not afford the cost of the crown without help from their benefit plan. The day after the crown was completed, the dentist followed up with a care call. The patient said that this was the best customer service she has ever received.

Q: If you could do one thing differently in your business, what would it be?

A: We have a demand for evenings and weekends. I may need to consider opening our clinic for another evening and one weekend a month.

Q: What makes you/your company successful?

A: We work as a team. Our leaders know that we could not be here without the team and vice versa. Clinical decisions are made as a group, feedback is always appreciated. Our team as a whole makes us successful.

Q: What are the “core values” of your organization?

A: Patient care, education, integrity, honesty, preventative care, overall health and wellbeing, continuing education, and collaborative approach to care.

Q: Where do the great ideas come from in your organization?

A: Team decision!
