Officers said they believe the three people were shot after a dispute inside a nearby restaurant.

Witnesses told Channel 2’s Carl Willis they heard rapid gunfire and saw the victims run.

“I saw one person running from the shooting scene. One of the people appeared to be fleeing and took time to stop and smash the window of this car over here and stole a bag out of the car as he ran away,” the witness said, not identifying himself.

Georgia State police and Atlanta police investigators are at the scene.

GSU police say they took one person into custody.

The victims were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
